Promoters Fred Brown (Wythe) and Phil Hall (Friendship) are excited to announce the inaugural Battle of the Blue Ridge to be held on Thursday night July 3rd at Friendship Speedway and on Saturday night July 5th at Wythe Raceway. Each night will feature a full evening of racing of all support divisions with a $1000.00 to win FASTRAK Late Model race headlining each night. In addition, Phil and Fred have agreed to offer a $500.00 Bonus to any driver that wins BOTH races. The excitement is already building with the potential of a $2500.00 weekend for one driver. A special championship cup trophy is being made to present to the driver that accumulates the most points between the two races.

Friendship’s pit gate will open on Thursday, July 3rd at 4 pm. with the grandstand gate opening at 5 pm. as well. Hot laps are tentatively scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. followed by qualifying and racing action.

Wythe’s pit gate will open on Saturday, July 5th at 4 pm with the grandstand gate opening at 5:00 pm. Hot laps are tentatively scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by qualifying and racing action.
