> 2008 OFFICIAL SPEEDWAY RULES

  • GM Direct Automotive Crate Late Models will run Fastrak Crate Late Model Rules.

  • Super Street, 4 Cylinders and U cars will run the same rules as Rolling Thunder Speedway in Ararat, Virginia. They are found below.

  • Our Tech Man is Jason Smoot. Call Jason after 7pm at 336-981-4148 for any technical questions.

Please note we will no longer have delaware file restarts. This is how it is going be and this decision will be final with no discussions. We will have single file restarts. Also, we will be communicating with the GM Direct Automotive Crate Late Model drivers during the race with race receivers in each car along with personal team radios. This will help get drivers back in line for restarts and will keep the race moving along as we make sure that the race will conclude within a timely manner. We will continue to have two lap time trials for qualifying. Coming in the future events we will occasionally be inverting the top four starting positions.

Moving forward if there are any disagreements and/or altercations between a driver and track official, the driver will be immediately be sent to the rear of the field. Any further disagreement and/or altercation after this penalty will result in removal from the speedway. Please make note that all drivers are responsible for actions of any of their pit area members of their team and family. These changes are being made and enforced to ensure the best family environment possible as this is for your benefit as well as the safety of track officials.

Drivers and crew members, please be sure that you are aware of the schedule of events for each night you attend. There are copies available as you come in so there should be no question when you should be staged and ready for your event. In the past weeks, we have give you plenty of time as there have been numerous announcements for cars to be staged and ready. Starting this week, if you are not ready when it is time to go out on the speedway then you will forfeit your starting position and will start from the rear, no exceptions.
